Dog Trained FOR you
Do you not have the time or the energy to spend hours training your dog at dog training classes? Dog Guru now offers training where one of our expert dog trainers can do the dog training for you. A dog trainer will come to your house and discuss what commands you would like to learn with your dog, what you have tried already, the most important commands and the least important commands. We will then discuss with you the commands we believe would be beneficial to your dog and come up with a game plan to work from. At this time payment is required for the service.
Over the course of two weeks the dog trainer will come to your house 3 days a week and pick up your dog and work with them. We will require access to your property and your house so we can also do commands inside the house such as not jumping on furniture and beds.
When we take the dog out we will work on getting it to come back when called, not pulling on the lead, not picking up rubbish, walking beside you and more. The advantage to this service is we will just tailor make what you require. Each time we come we will spend an hour with your dog so your dog will also get a nice walk out of it.
At the end of the second week we will arrange a time to do a technical hand over. This hand over will be done at the end of the second week where we show you what we have trained your dog to do. This will involve heading out to a local park, working inside the house and more. This way we ensure you have a better chance of success and you can do everything what we can do. This is approximately 2 hours.
The service includes 6 private dog training sessions where the trainer works with your dog and part of a dog walk if training done outside. In addition to this you get the hand over and the follow up appointment. This is a total of 8 hours work at least. It also includes your first visit. We also have follow up email if required where you can email us at any time and chat to your trainer personally. It also includes a detailed copy of the training instructions and each session we leave notes of what we have covered. All dog training is using our humane techniques and positive reinforcement techniques where possible. We only use what we believe is right and have taught our own dogs the same way. We will NOT use choker chains, halti’s, harnesses or harsh punishment techniques such as alpha rolling, hitting, screaming or physical punishment. Please contact us for prices for this service.
