Currently completing a Certificate in Animal Care from Southland Institute

Experience

I have bred dogs in the past and have worked at a doggy daycare centre running a pack from puppies as well as older dogs. I was also responsible for training up the staff in running this pack. I also show dogs at present.

Personal

I am excited to pass on my many years of practical dog training experience to Dogguru. Much of my childhood involved being hands on in all aspects of dog welfare and care which sparked my later interest in entering the world of dog shows and breeding quality breed specimens.

I am a passionate and dedicated trainer and believe in the power of conversation a wagging tail has. So come along and spend sometime in a no pressure environment with a trainer excited to experience your achievements with you.

I believe if we have a full understanding of the breed of dog we chose as our companion the bond created when the needs are met in our dogs at the most basic level ensures a life long union. As well as all basic training principals I aim to teach our clients skills to alleviate problem behaviours or enrich play and training to new levels.
